Faith and Politics

The First Amendment requires that expressions of faith be neither prohibited nor preferred.
It says that we will not establish a National religion
.

My faith is a strong part of my life - it defines me as the person I am. It  gave me the
strength and courage  to endure the pain and agony of chemo-therapy during my fight with
colon cancer in 1996.

Real faith makes us more humble and mindful, not of the faults of others, but of our own. It
makes us less judgmental, as we see others with the same challenges we have.

Faith gives us strength and courage in the face of injustice and motivates us to do our best.
